So Much to be Grateful For

I went to South America on a mission trip last week. One afternoon, while ministering with the people I asked a young woman if she would like to visit the states. I expected her to say, “Yes I can’t wait to come. Because I was only looking at her living conditions. ” No,”  She looked at me and said, “Maybe if God says so some day,  but its OK cause I have everything I need right here.  My God I can’t tell you how that spoke volumes to me. She wasn’t complaining about her living conditions or about her lack of anything. She knew her life was in God’s hand.  I am so grateful for that experience. The people of Guyana were so very gracious and kind. They were so willing to share everything they had.  I went to minister to the Guyanese people and received a blessing in return. We have so much to be grateful for.
