We have experienced a great deal of trauma and violence over the past few weeks. So many lives have been turned upside down. We’ve heard “Black Lives Matter” being chanted in our streets, and they do. But all lives matters. We all are part of the Body of Christ. Can the legs says to the arms that they don’t matter? Should the mouth tell the eyes that they are more important? Instead of finding ways to divide ourselves, let’s look for ways to enhance each other’s lives. We have lost a number of lives over the past weeks. Those lives mattered. Let’s pray for all the families that have lost loved ones. Even the ones who inflicted the hurt and the hard, because they’re life mattered to someone too. We are our brother’s keeper.
